About the Artists

Emilio Martinez

Emilio Martinez was born in Honduras on October 31, 1981. While he was just 13 years old, Emilio and his family decided to leave Honduras to pursue “The American Dream.” Emilio had difficulty adjusting to the language and culture in Miami. He eventually did and saw drawing and painting as a unique way to display his own talent and creativity. His artistic touch and creativity seemed to spring up from within. He eventually understood the pureness of his talent and decided to display his own originality amongst the ever growing Art Scene in Miami. “When I started a project, I became an expatiator. I just feel a natural flow and observe my feelings as the follow the natural path of the brush and become personified as colors on the canvas. My Indian roots live through my art work.”
